Where to eat in Cefalù: our tips

It is well known that Sicily is among the best, if not the best in gastronomy, so during your stay why not treat yourself to some good food?

Cefalù, gives you the chance to not only spend an holiday in the name of art, beuaty and relax but also gives the opportunity to taste the kitchen made of traditions.

Wide selection of places where you can taste excellent meat and fish dishes and of course delicious pizzas.

For lunch, an aperitif or dinner, an excellent alternative on the Cefalù seafront is Bottega Tivitti, an eatery offering a wide selection of both meat and fish dishes, hamburger sandwiches and delicious pizzas.

If you are looking for a quality dining experience, we recommend Il Cappero, a restaurant whose cuisine with authentic flavours is distinguished by its traditional recipes enhanced by unusual techniques and combinations.

For meat lover, instead, an excellent choice is Bif Braceria Fuorimondo that offrs a wide selection of meats even with particular cuts and refined tastes.

For quick lunch or dinner or for a take-away to taste at the beach Foodda is the good taste by the sea. You can choose betwen Burgers, pastas, salad and sandwiches all made with local products like Castelbuono smoked scamorza cheese or Madonie provola cheese.

Taverna Tinchitè to savour true traditional Sicilian cuisine, through dishes reminiscent of grandmothers’ cooking. Winery & Putia, on the other hand, offers meat and fish dishes and tasty gourmet pizzas all accompanied by a wide selection of local wines.

You cannot leave Cefalù without first tasting the queen of Sicilian pastries: her majesty the Cassata, inherited from the Arab people (cassata from the Arabic ‘quas’at’) to be enjoyed in the famous Piazza del Duomo while admiring the imposing Cathedral.
